USES:
With the Colander:
• To rinse, drain, and defrost meat, fish, vegetables, fruit… while preventing them from soaking in their own juices.
• To poach fish fillets, vegetables, fruit…
• To separate broth or sauce from stews (pot-au-feu, chicken stew, couscous…).
• To remove fruit from punch, sangria…
• To serve hot and crispy fried foods by placing coarse salt between the Colander and the Base.
• To serve food and keep it hot or cold by placing hot water or crushed ice between the Colander and the Base.
Without the Colander:
• To desalinate fish or meat.

TIPS:
• Perfect for peeling tomatoes: make a small incision in the tomatoes, place them in the Colander, pour in boiling water, cover for 5 minutes, drain, and peel.
• Use the Serving Dish upside down to cover a roast, using the Lid as the base and the Base as the cover.
• Protect your fruit from insects by placing them in the Lid and positioning the Colander upside down on top.
• Use the Divider to serve foods separately (meats and vegetables).
