Mega football burger
Discover an ultra-indulgent giant burger with soft homemade bread, a generous steak, melting cheddar, and fresh toppings for a friendly and spectacular meal.

Préparation
Put the water, milk, sugar, and yeast in the shaker, then let it rest for a few minutes before mixing well.
Put all the bread ingredients in a bowl. Mix with a silicone spatula, then knead the dough to form a smooth ball that comes away from the bowl (add a little flour if needed). Close the bowl and let it rest for about 30 minutes in a warm room.
Knead the dough again to deflate it. Shape it into a well-flattened ball to fit the bottom of the football mold placed on the cold oven rack, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise for 30 minutes in the preheated convection oven at setting 2 or 60°C.
Remove the football mold from the oven and increase the oven to convection setting 6 or 180°C.
Bake the bread for about 25 minutes in the preheated oven.
Immediately unmold the bread onto the oven rack and brush the patterned side with egg white (using a Pro silicone brush). Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for about 15 minutes.
With the ground meat, form a steak the size of the football mold. Brush it with oil and cook over fairly high heat, about 5 minutes on each side in a non-stick pan. Salt and pepper.
Peel the onion and tomato and cut them into thin slices (using a tomato knife). Cut the drained pickles. Wash and dry the lettuce.
Cut the bread in half (using a bread knife) and spread each half with the sauce.
Then layer the ingredients in the order of your choice and serve immediately.

- 75 g of cold/warm water (30°C)
- 75 g of milk
- 5 g of sugar
- 1 packet of dry baker's yeast
- 375 g of flour
- 1 egg
- 5 g of salt
- 75 g of very soft butter
- Decoration: 1 egg white + 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Garnish:
- 500 g of ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 red onion (± 100 g)
- 1 tomato (± 150 g)
- 100 g of pickled gherkins
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of cheddar
- 25 ml of sauce of choice (mustard, ketchup, burger sauce, mayonnaise...)
