Legal and Commercial Warranties Attached to the Products

Independently of the commercial warranty, Tupperware products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity as set out in Articles L. 217-3 to L. 217-13 of the French Consumer Code and by the warranty against hidden defects as provided for in Articles 1641 to 1648 and 2232 of the French Civil Code.

When the customer acts under the legal guarantee of conformity:

• They have a period of 2 years to make a claim.

• They may choose, under the conditions set out in Articles L. 217-8 and following of the Consumer Code, between repair or replacement of the product.

• They are not required to prove the existence of the defect at the time of purchase if it appears within the period set out in Article L. 217-7 of the Consumer Code.

The customer may also decide to invoke the warranty against hidden defects as defined in Article 1641 of the Civil Code. In this case, they may choose between cancelling the sale or obtaining a price reduction, in accordance with Article 1644 of the Civil Code.

Exercising the legal warranties mentioned above will not incur any costs for the customer.

Tupperware products sold from April 1, 2025 also benefit from a 30-year commercial warranty against manufacturing defects, provided the product is used in accordance with the usage recommendations.

, under the general terms and conditions of use of the site.

The 30-year commercial warranty does not apply to products containing electronic components, Soft Boards, Silicone Oven Mitts, Microfibres, steel elements (blades, grids and graters), the Premiaglass base, or products with an Eterna® non-stick coating (Micro Pro Grill, Black Series products).

When using Tupperware® products in a microwave, the Tupperware® warranty only applies to products specifically designed for such use.

Tupperware also offers a spare parts service (subject to stock availability) for most products.
