Legal and Commercial Warranties Attached to the Products

Independently of the commercial warranty, Tupperware products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity mentioned in Articles L. 217-3 to L. 217-13 of the Consumer Code and from the warranty relating to defects of the sold item, under the conditions provided in Articles 1641 to 1648 and 2232 of the Civil Code.

- When the customer acts under the legal warranty of conformity: they have a 2-year period to act; they may choose, under the conditions provided by Articles L. 217-8 and following of the Consumer Code, between repair or replacement of the good; they are exempt from proving the existence of the defect at the time of purchase if it appears within the period set by Article L. 217-7 of the Consumer Code.

- The customer may decide to enforce the warranty against defects of the sold item under Article 1641 of the Civil Code and in this case, may choose between the rescission action and the price reduction action provided by Article 1644 of the Civil Code.

The implementation of the legal warranties mentioned above will not incur any costs for the customer.

- Tupperware products sold from April 1, 2025, also benefit from a 10-year commercial warranty against any manufacturing defect, subject to use in accordance with the recommended usage instructions.

The implementation of the commercial warranty will result in a credit usable on the merchant site https://tupperware-eu.com and under the site's general terms of use.

The 10-year commercial warranty does not apply to products containing electronic components, Flexible Boards, Silicone Pot Holders, Microfibers, steel elements: blades, grids and graters, the Premiaglass base, and products with an Eterna® non-stick coating (Micro Pro Grill, Black Series Products).

In case of using Tupperware® products in a microwave, the Tupperware® warranty only applies to products designed for that purpose.

Tupperware has a spare parts sales service (subject to available stock) for most products.
