Cooking Pot Préparation

Basic Cake
Cut the vanilla bean in half and scrape it to mix with the sugar.

Mix the flour, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and cornstarch (Whisk mixer).

Add the butter, zest, eggs in order and mix vigorously.

Pour the batter into the Football Mold placed on the cold oven rack and bake for about 50 minutes in a preheated convection oven, Th 5/6 or 170°C.

Football

Apply a thin layer of jam on the lemon cake. Knead the white fondant and roll it out into a circle (Ø 28 cm) (Modulo Roller and Baking Sheet).

Place it on the cake, pressing firmly, then paint the pentagons black (or place pentagons made from black fondant).

Bear

Heat the cream (MicroCook Pitcher 1 l) for 2 minutes at 600 watts, add the chopped chocolate and stir (Silicone spatula). Let the mixture cool.

Cut the cake in half horizontally, fill it with half of the chocolate ganache (Silicone spatula).

Close the cake, cover it with the remaining chocolate ganache, and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles.

Melt the milk chocolate pieces for 1 minute 30 seconds at 360 watts (MicroCook Pitcher 1 l), let rest for 1 minute, then stir. Shape the nose and eyes with the milk chocolate and let them cool.

Cut a biscuit to make the bear’s snout and finish decorating the bear’s head (ears, snout, nose, and eyes).

Flower

Whip the egg white until stiff, then gradually add the powdered sugar while whisking (about 2 to 3 minutes).

Add the lemon juice and finish whisking.

Spread the icing on the lemon cake (Pro silicone brush). Sprinkle colored sugar beads and glitter on the still-wet icing.

Ladybug

Apply a thin layer of jam on the cake.

Roll out the red fondant into a circle (Ø 28 cm) on a baking sheet (Baking Sheet and Modulo Roller).

Place it on the cake, pressing firmly.

Roll out the black fondant and cut out the head, eyes, spots, and legs. Place them on the red fondant.

Use white fondant to finish the eyes. Cut the vanilla bean in half and stick the halves to make the antennae.

  • Ladybug: 200 g jam (flavor of your choice), 400 g red fondant, 200 g black fondant, 100 g white fondant, 1 vanilla pod
