Cooking Pot Préparation

Wash the cherries, dry them, and mix them with 1 teaspoon of flour.

Whisk vigorously (Speedy Chef 2) the egg with the sugar and scraped vanilla to get a frothy mixture.

Add the flour, baking powder, and butter, then whisk to obtain a smooth batter.
Fold in the cherries gently to coat them well with the batter.

Butter the Ultra Pro 500 ml Terrine (Pro silicone brush), then pour in the batter and bake:

  • Air Fryer: about 35 to 40 minutes (without lid) after preheating the air fryer for about 5 minutes at 180°C (356°F).
  • Oven: about 40 to 45 minutes (with lid) in a preheated oven, setting 6 or 180°C (356°F).
Let cool with the lid on before unmolding.

Tips:

Keep a few cherries to place on the batter after 15-20 minutes of baking.
Keep the scraped vanilla pod and put it in sugar to make vanilla sugar.
