Mold for soft cakes

• One of the properties of silicone is to absorb fats in recipes. It releases them gradually after use and the mold shows a greasy feel and a white residue. To preserve your silicone mold, wash the inside and outside with soapy water and dry them carefully before each use to remove any possible greasy/white residue.
• Use a cold and clean oven rack or a metal baking sheet to place the mold before filling it.
• It is not necessary to use grease or cooking sprays with our silicone molds. They could even damage the material. Only when molding in the refrigerator or freezer (for example, recipes with gelatin), a little oil can be used to facilitate unmolding.
• Our silicone mold can withstand heat, but it cannot be used on the stove or with the grill function of your oven, microwave, or grill.
• Be careful! Cut what you have cooked on a serving tray, a cutting board, a plate... but never in the baking mold. Really... never!
• Always preheat the oven before baking (remove the oven rack before preheating).
• Some foods may cause stains, but this does not affect the product's performance.
• Always use oven mitts when removing the silicone mold from the microwave or conventional oven. Always remove it together with the oven rack.
