The advantage of this product is that it is made with ECO+ material: the ECO+ product range is made from certified renewable materials.
Eco+ Straws are made from a special material: a new food-grade certified plastic, derived from disposable packaging in our daily lives. This disposable packaging would otherwise have ended up in landfills or incinerators and has thus been given a second chance.
At Tupperware, we were the first to use this plastic, this innovative material, because it is recycled and yet food-safe. Thanks to this material, reuse rather than disposable takes on a whole new meaning. Indeed, on the one hand, disposable packaging is recycled and, on the other hand, with Eco+ Straws we replace a single-use product that, designed as such, generates such a waste burden because it is only used for a few seconds before being thoughtlessly thrown away. Without knowing that it takes decades for this barely visible disposable product to be broken down again. But with Tupperware straws, these two problems belong to the past. Reuse instead of throw away is doubly true with these straws.
