The preservation of fruits and vegetables has been the subject of extensive research by the top scientists at the University of Florida and Tupperware to develop a range of smart containers.

The Tupperware ACE (Atmosphere Controlled Environment) system creates an optimal environment to keep fruits and vegetables fresh for longer.

VentilOfrais boxes are equipped with a special three-way ventilation system that regulates the atmosphere inside the box by balancing the flow of incoming oxygen and outgoing carbon dioxide.

The slider can be used in 3 different positions:

• Half open: when the slider is aligned with the half-circle of the pictogram, the small opening of the lid is open for slight ventilation.
• Closed: when the slider is aligned with the fully engraved circle in the middle of the pictogram, both openings of the lid are closed.
• Fully open: when the slider is aligned with the hollow and shiny circle pictogram, the large opening of the lid is open for full ventilation.

• A handy chart showing the recommended ventilation slider position for each product is printed within the plastic layers of the refrigerator storage boxes, so it does not fade or erase over time.
• The lid is easy to open thanks to the tab located in the corner.
• The stepped grooved base keeps the contents away from moisture and ensures air circulation around the food.

Instructions for use and care

Avoiding condensation

To avoid additional condensation, do not place the containers against the walls of your refrigerator.

Cleaning

• Clean and dry your product before first use.
• All parts of the VentilOfrais are dishwasher safe.
• It is not necessary to remove the slider for every wash or drying.
• Thoroughly dry the inside of the container before each use.
• Dry the container before nesting it when not in use.
• Use a low-temperature program on your dishwasher to save energy and protect the environment.

Slider assembly

1. Always place the slider in the middle, aligning the tab to the closed position.
2. Hold the seal near the slider with one hand to support it.
3. Push the slider into the seal with your other hand.
4. Make sure the hooks of the slider are fully pressed in so they lock properly.

Slider removal

1. Always remove the slider from the inside of the seal.
2. Never pull the slider from the outside to avoid damaging the seal.
3. Always place the slider in the middle (marked by two arrows inside the seal).
4. Hold the seal near the slider with one hand to support the area.
5. Push the slider outward with your thumb or use both thumbs at the same time.

Note: It is not necessary to remove the slider for every wash and drying.

Storage

• Always store containers without lids to avoid moisture and mold.
• Bases nest perfectly for optimal space saving.
• To nest containers of different heights, place the taller ones inside the flatter ones.
• VentilOfrais containers can also be nested with those from the Cool Mates range.
