The Tupperware Filtered Pitcher Cartridge is to be used in the Pure 2.6L Filtered Pitcher, which is an amazing new way to improve the quality and taste of your water at home.
The Filtered Pitcher comes with a durable filter that you can refill instead of throwing away.
You just need to open the refillable cartridge and pour in fresh activated carbon granules.
When the activated carbon is exhausted after 30 days, you do not need to throw away the plastic filter, but you can use and reuse it.
This way, you save a lot of money and also reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles.
Characteristics:
The timer is placed on the outside of the lid. It indicates when the cartridge content needs to be changed and refilled (max. 30 days or 150L). Once the cartridge content is changed, the timer can be reset by holding down the start button for a few seconds.
The filter cartridge is the part that is filled with filtering granules. These granules can be easily poured inside the cartridge. The cartridge consists of two elements (base and lid) and a mesh. The mesh prevents the granules from escaping the filtration system and flowing into the Pure Filtered Pitcher.
The hopper is stable and fixed inside the pitcher.
The pitcher has a total capacity of 2.6 liters.
Instructions for filling the cartridge:

Open the cartridge, remove the old granules and throw them in the trash (not suitable for composting). Clean and dry all parts of the filtered carafe properly.
Open a new refill bag with granules and fill the cartridge with its contents.
After filling, close the cartridge tightly.
Fill your carafe (or a bowl) with water and soak the cartridge for 15 minutes. Soaking allows the granules to work best to provide filtered water.
After soaking, remove the water from the pitcher and place the cartridge in the hopper.
Fill the hopper with water and wait for the water to be filtered. This process must be done twice. Do not drink the first two portions of filtered water. You can use it, for example, to water plants. From the 3rd filling, the water can be used for drinking, cooking, preparing coffee or tea, etc. Reset the filter indicator timer located on the lid.
Clean the product (all components) before first use.
Use only treated tap water supplied by urban districts.
The filter is designed to be used only with cold water (no syrup, soft drinks, etc.).
Maximum amount of water filtered per day: 7.5L (Reason: the ion exchange resin needs time to bring the active principles back to the surface).
Maximum amount of water filtered per granule filling: 150L (depending on the composition of tap water).
Maximum usage duration with one filling of granules: 30 days.
The cartridge must be kept moist at all times. When the water level in the carafe approaches the bottom of the filter base, the carafe must be refilled. If the filter is not used for 1 or 2 days, soak the cartridge again for 15 minutes and do not use the first fill. After that, the filter works normally again.
It is recommended to store the product away from direct sunlight.
It is recommended to clean the pitcher and the hopper once a week.
The filled cartridge can be removed and set aside.
The activated charcoal sachet contains small granules. Keep it out of reach of children.
