The Potato Storage Box was designed following research on how to preserve the freshness and firmness of your potatoes. With a user-friendly design, the front access panel of the potato storage container has the ideal number of holes for optimal air circulation.

Uses

• The shelf life of your potatoes in the 5.5 l Chest is determined by the ambient temperature and air humidity.
• For optimal results, store them in a cool place. Potatoes are best kept between 7°C and 10°C. At lower temperatures, the potato starch turns into sugar. At higher temperatures, the potato dehydrates.
• Avoid storing them under the sink, which is often a warm environment, near the dishwasher.
• The Potato Chest can also be used in cellars that are not too humid.

Instructions for use:

• Before placing the lid on the container, attach the stopper to the seal by pushing the buttons into the 6 small holes.
• To seal, align the seal frame with the container. With the stopper open, first press the gasket onto the front of the container. Then slide your thumbs along the edges of the seal and press to secure it in place.
• To close the stopper, press firmly and simultaneously on the two notches located at the two corners of the stopper with your thumbs while holding the container with the other fingers of both hands. When you hear a click, the stopper is closed.
• The stopper tab is slightly wider to leave space for fingers, making it very easy to lift and open. When you push the stopper back, it locks in the open position and stays open if needed.
• To remove the stopper, first remove the seal from the container, then push the 6 buttons out of the seal with your thumbs.
