Even heat : thanks to the additional 4 mm disc firmly fixed to the base of the pot, heat is retained and distributed evenly.

The lid can be used in the oven : it is safe up to 240°C.

Good to know

• Always use the lid to heat food at low temperature to preserve its water content.
• Handles can become hot during prolonged cooking, so we always recommend using a silicone glove.
• Handles should never be placed directly on the heat source.
• Never let the flames from the stovetop extend beyond the sides of the pots.
• To maintain balance on a gas stove, make sure long handles are placed above the grate.
• We recommend using oven gloves to handle Mastro pots once they have started heating on the stovetop.
• Always use oven gloves to remove pots from the oven.
• Let the lid dry in a vertical position.
• The diameter of the base of the pots must match the diameter of the stovetop burner used.
• Do not leave empty pots on a hot stove and do not let the pot dry out.
• Never pour water on hot grease in a pot.
• Always use a trivet when placing hot pots on the table or countertop.
