• The air trapped between the 2 bowls acts as an insulator (the same principle as double-glazed windows). Food is then kept at temperature. Heat is optimally retained at +60°C for 1 hour 30 minutes when the inner bowl is filled to the maximum line and the lid is in the closed position.

Compact storage

Microwave reheating:
• In the microwave, always place the set of inner bowl + outer bowl + lid in the open position.
• Maximum reheating time of 3 minutes, at a power of 600 Watts MAX.
• Remember to stir the food to ensure even reheating.
• Not designed for cooking food in the microwave or conventional oven.

Low-pressure steam oven or steam-combi oven:
• Ideal for healthy cooking without fats, where nutrients, vitamins, and minerals are preserved.
• Only the inner bowls and the strainer are compatible with the low-pressure steam oven, at 100°C max.
• Once cooking is finished, assemble the inner bowl, outer bowl, and lid for serving at the right temperature.

During serving:
• To keep the dish at the best temperature, fill the inner bowl to the maximum fill line and place the lid in the closed position.
• For serving, there is no need to hold the lid; it attaches to the bowl: for a clean table (condensation falls directly into the bowl) and to encourage quick closing.

Perfect for reheating:
• in the microwave: soups and sauces, stews, meats in sauce…
• in the low-pressure steam oven (only the 1.3 l, 2.25 l, 3.25 l bowls and the strainer), ideal for preparing pilaf-style rice, stew…

To store in the refrigerator, let the preparation cool in its cooking dish then transfer it cold into the suitable Iso Tup.

The outer bowls can also be used separately as serving salad bowls for cold preparations such as mixed salads, bread, fruit...
