What are its advantages?

Think of it as your microwave slow cooker, but much faster!

"Set and forget" : place the ingredients in the base and cook them in the microwave. No need to stir or check anything during cooking!

• You can cook dry beans in half the time in the microwave: soak them overnight, rinse them, add them to the Micro Minute with water, and microwave for 30 minutes.
• For quick and even cooking, cut meats and vegetables into small pieces of equal size.
  
• Pierce all foods that have a skin, such as tomatoes, squash, and jacket potatoes, and score whole fish or chicken breast. This will allow excess steam to escape and prevent heat concentration inside the food.
  
• If the piece of meat you are using has a shape that makes it impossible to cover it with liquid without exceeding the maximum fill line, cut it so that it is submerged and the liquid does not exceed the fill line.
  
• If you are cooking a starchy product, like risotto, rinse the grains until the water runs clear; this reduces the starch on the grains and prevents the seals from clogging.
  
• To optimize space and limit odors in your cupboards, store your Micro Minute open. Simply place the lid upside down and put the base on top.
