The chef's knife is used to chop, slice, dice, and easily cut meat, cabbage, pumpkin, and watermelon, as well as other dense foods like potatoes and squash without difficulty. It is perfect for chopping herbs and seasonings.
The flat part of the blade can also be used to crush garlic cloves or to transfer
food from the cutting board to the pot or bowl using the back of the blade.
