VentilOfrais – Optimized preservation of fruits and vegetables

The preservation of fruits and vegetables has been the subject of extensive research by the top scientists at the University of Florida and Tupperware to develop a range of smart containers. The Tupperware ACE (Atmosphere Controlled Environment) system creates an optimal environment to keep fruits and vegetables fresh for longer.

VentilOfrais boxes feature a special three-way ventilation system that regulates the atmosphere inside the box by balancing the flow of incoming oxygen and outgoing carbon dioxide.
The slider can be used in 3 different positions:

A handy chart indicating the recommended slider position for each product is printed directly on the plastic and does not fade over time.
The lid is easy to open thanks to the tab located in the corner.
The bottom with stepped grooves keeps the contents away from moisture and ensures air circulation around the food.
When not in use, the boxes can be nested for compact storage, even between different sizes.
They allow the preservation of fruits and vegetables such as: asparagus, bean sprouts, beets, blueberries, Brussels sprouts, carrots, celery, cherries, peppers, figs, fresh herbs, ginger, green beans, Jerusalem artichokes, kohlrabi, lemon or lime, mushrooms, pak choi, peas, radishes, raspberries, rhubarb, spring onions, strawberries, turnips, bell peppers, white or red grapes, zucchinis…

How to clean this product?

Clean and dry your product before first use.

All parts of the VentilOfrais are dishwasher safe.

It is not necessary to remove the slider every time you wash and dry the lid.

Thoroughly dry the inside of the container before each use.

Thoroughly dry the VentilOfrais before nesting it if not in use.

Use a low temperature program on your dishwasher to save energy and protect the environment.

How to place the slider on the lid?

Always place the slider in the middle, aligning the tab with the closed ventilation position.

Hold the lid with one hand, near the slider, to support it. Push the slider into the lid with the other hand.

Make sure the hooks of the slider are fully inserted so they clip properly onto the edge.

How to remove the slider?
The slider should always be removed from the inside of the lid.

Do not pull the slider from the outside of the lid, as this may damage the lid.

Always position the slider in the middle. The correct position is indicated by 2 arrows engraved on the inside of the lid.

Hold the lid with one hand, near the slider, to support it. Push the slider outward with the thumb of the other hand

or Hold the lid with both hands. Push the slider outward with the thumbs of both hands at the same time.

It is not necessary to remove the slider every time you wash and dry the lid.

How to store the box when it is not in use?

Always store your boxes without lids to prevent moisture from remaining inside the base and causing mold.

The containers nest conveniently for optimal space saving when not in use.

To save space by nesting containers of different heights, place the taller containers inside flatter containers. You can also nest the VentilOfrais boxes inside containers from the Igloo range.
