The lid fits well but is not airtight, the filled bowl must be stored upright.

How to open the lid?

The lid is easy to remove, just press your thumb on the edge while lifting the tab with your fingers, then remove the lid.

How to close the lid? 

Place the groove of the lid on the edge of the cup on the side closest to you. Press the lid on the edge while sliding your thumbs along the edge of the lid and your fingers under the edge of the cup, forcing the rest of the edge into the groove. Press the center of the lid while lifting the tab and expel the excess air to put it back in place.
